Since the company started in 1982, we have worked with our customers to provide the best products available. Starting with horseshoes, horseshoe nails and tools for farriers we launched our first aprons in 1983. With the advent of the exceptionally hard wearing Superthistle (TM) leather, Gibbins aprons attracted a worldwide market and are the leading brand of blacksmith and farrier aprons today.
Today we continue to offer top quality products. The apron range - made in our Suffolk workshop by skilled crafts people - now includes gardening and other specialist aprons. We do not try to carry a full range of farriery supplies but concentrate on products from the UK and elsewhere in the world that we feel offer exceptional quality and utility to farriers and others.
